How do I search the database?
You can search the database by any combination of name, molecular formula, molecular weight, or shifts. The order of shifts doesn't matter, but you need to enter the shifts starting from chemshift #1. When you have entered the information you want to search on, click on SUBMIT.
How does the Name Search work?
You don't need to know the exact name; for example, if you search on "cholesterol", you will get all the compounds in that solvent with "cholesterol" in their names. At present, you can only search one solvent at a time.
Why do I get an error message "Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression " when I search on chemshift #2 - 9?
The script that runs the search expects the shifts to be entered starting with chemshift #1. This limitation may later be removed.
Why aren't there more natural products in the database?
We are working as fast as we can to get more data entered. If you would like to contribute to the effort, please contact Dr. Robert Bates or Dan Sadowski.
I have a suggestion, comment, question, or found a bug. Who should I talk to?
Please contact Dr. Robert Bates or Dan Sadowski.
